This is for small weddings which the county clerk defines as 15-20 people. Located on the Figueroa Street side, it is outside the south exit of the courthouse. Several things to know about getting married at this location:
1. You must have your own officiant. The county clerk will not perform here.
2. It's come first, first serve. Tourists tend not to hang out in this area BUT you may peak their curiosity as they leave the courthouse.
3. Great option for afternoon ceremonies. Shade covers this area in the afternoon.
4. None of the following:
- No amplified sound, but soft acoustic music would be permitted.
- All chairs and equipment are to be hand carried to wedding site.
- No rice, confetti, flower petals, bird seed or open flames.
- No taping off or coning any area of Courthouse Grounds.
