1. The county clerk will perform the ceremony here IF you reserve it prior to making your appointment with the county clerk office. Call Parks + Recreation at 805.568.2460, Option 4, or email them at WEDDINGS@COUNTYOFSB.ORG . Pricing is here.
2. It is a public area so tourists may stop and watch. In my experience they've been very respectful and stay in the back and quiet.
3. The Rotunda Lawn is considered great for 25 people while the Bird of Paradise is slightly wider and can accommodate 50 guests.
4. None of the following:
- No amplified sound, but soft acoustic music would be permitted.
- All chairs and equipment are to be hand carried to wedding site.
- No rice, confetti, flower petals, bird seed or open flames.
- No taping off or coning any area of Courthouse Grounds.
